If you support our aims, then why not join our campaign? The cost for individuals to join the campaign is £10.00 per annum*.
Also, why not get your friends, family, work colleagues and neighbours to join too? The more people that join us, and the more who get involved in our activities, the more likely, and the sooner, we'll achieve our objectives.
Better still, if you are also a member of a community, tenants' or residents' group or of a political party or trades union branch or other organisation, why not also get them to join both as individuals and as an organisation?
We have a sliding scale of affiliation fees: The fee for organisations with less than 250 members is £25.00 per annum. For organisations with over 250, but less than 500 members, the affiliation fee is £50.00 per annum. For organisations with a membership in excess of 500 members, the affiliation fee is £100.00 per annum. For organisations with a membership in excess of 1000 members, the affiliation fee is £200.00 per annum
If you'd like to invite a speaker from our campaign to address a meeting of your organisation, in order to put forward our case and/or to assist you in getting them to affiliate, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity, and we'll try our best to provide you with one. E-mail us via: manchester@freepublictransports.com with the details.
Alternatively, why not download our speakers notes and have a go at the job for yourself? It's not rocket science!

We are making a big push with regards to winning affiliations in the next few months and hope to add many more organisations to this list.
Our aims in doing so, are to help spread our message and campaign activities across Greater Manchester (and beyond), to help raise much needed funds to do that more effectively, and to demonstrate the widespread geographical, and broad social and political support that there already exists for our campaign objectives.
If you need to propose a motion or resolution, then why not adapt the following one:
Model Resolution
"This organisation supports the call for an expanded public transport system that is fully integrated, publicly owned and free at the point of use, as a rational, socially just, and ecologically sound solution to the growing problems of road congestion, air pollution and burgeoning CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions.
Accordingly, this organisation resolves to affiliate to the Campaign for Free Public Transport (at the appropriate affiliation fee), and to encourage our members to participate in its activities locally and nationally."
Please send all cheques for membership/affiliation (made payable to the "The Campaign for Free Public Transport") to PO Box 31, Bridge 5 Mill, 22a Beswick Street, Manchester M4 7HR.
In the near future we hope to add an online payment facility to this site to enable everyone to join and pay their subscriptions (or make donations) directly. Until then, we can only receive your membership or affiliation fees via the traditional method, i.e. in an envelope via the Royal Mail. (Please provide details of your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address if you have one, also include a SAE if you require a receipt and/or individual membership cards).
(Please note your personal information will not be passed on to any third party, nor included on this web site without your prior permission. * £10.00 is the individual annual membership fee for 2010.)
